Our Mission & Vision

The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

We proclaim the good news of God’s grace and seek to live out Jesus’ command to love God and neighbor, working toward the fulfillment of God’s reign in the world. Guided by faith, service, and love, we are committed to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering community, and engaging in meaningful acts of compassion and justice. Our vision is a world where God’s grace is shared, communities are strengthened, and every person is welcomed to participate in God’s work.

Our Beliefs & Values

At St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, our faith is grounded in God’s grace and revealed through Jesus Christ. We believe that God’s love is active in the world, calling us toward healing, wholeness, and transformation.

We trust the Bible as a living witness that guides our worship, learning, and daily lives. We believe we are called to grow as disciples of Jesus—deepening our faith through prayer, worship, study, and service.

We believe the Holy Spirit is still at work today, shaping the church and leading us to love God and neighbor in meaningful and life-giving ways.

We strive to be a community where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and care.

Growth

We value thoughtful, Scripture-centered worship and lifelong spiritual formation.

Community

We believe faith is lived best in relationship—with God and with one another.

“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can…”

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to be United Methodist?

Being United Methodist means we try to follow the way of Jesus by living with grace, compassion, and care for others. We believe people grow best not through fear or pressure, but through love that welcomes questions and change.

We look to the Bible as a guide for understanding God and life, and we also learn from history, thoughtful conversation, and real-life experience. Faith, for us, is not just private or personal—it’s meant to be lived out through kindness, service, and working for a more just and caring world.

We are part of a connected church, where decisions are made together and communities support one another as we seek to love God and our neighbors in meaningful, everyday ways.

Do I have to agree with everyone to belong?

No. We believe community is built on grace, respect, and love—not uniformity of opinion. We seek to love one another even when we don’t all think alike.

Who is welcome at St. Paul’s?

All are welcome to worship and participate in the life of the church. We are a community made up of people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, united by a desire to grow in faith and live out God’s love.

How can I learn more or get involved?

You’re invited to join us for worship, small groups, Bible study, or service opportunities. You can also reach out through our Contact page—we’re always glad to connect.
